Julie Burros is an urban planner and cultural planner,  and currently works as Senior Planner with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning specializing in plan implementation, program development and government innovation. She has deep expertise focused on the intersection of arts and culture and community development. Burros earned a Master of Science in Urban Planning from Columbia University, and an A.B. in sociology from the University of Chicago.
