Mandar Patel

Hello everyone! My name is Mandar Patel, and I am a rising senior in Maine East High School. What I want to gain from this program is further knowledge on what we can do with urban planning in many different areas. My favorite things to do during the summer are playing games, talking with friends, and spending time with family.

I will be entering my senior year at North Central College. I am studying Environmental Studies and Urban/Suburban Studies. I hope to gain knowledge on the current urban planning projects that are taking place in the Chicago area and what planners prioritize when starting or choosing a project. For example, are environmental, social, or economic factors prioritized over another? My favorite thing to do in the summer is to go on the lake with friends and family.

Hi everyone!My name is Courtney Barnes and I'm an Engagement Associate at CMAP. I help connect our communities to our urban planning projects to make sure they direct the work being done in their community. My favorite thing to do in the summer (and frankly all year round) is to travel with my family and friends.
