Matteson Capital Improvement Plan

The Village of Matteson is working with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) and a consultant to develop Matteson's first-ever Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Think of this plan as a strategic 5-year roadmap that will help Matteson identify, prioritize, and schedule capital projects and purchases. These aren't just minor fixes; capital projects can include everything from:

• Updating and building roads
• Improving essential utilities like water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure
• Upgrading public spaces and buildings
• Purchasing major equipment and vehicles
• Modernizing technology

The plan is more than just a list of projects; it allows the Village to create predictability and awareness about upcoming community investments. It helps demonstrate transparency and accountability to residents and business owners by clearly showing how resources will be invested.
