Dixmoor Capital Improvement Plan

The Village of Dixmoor and the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) worked together to develop a Capital Improvement Plan that can guide and prioritize large capital and infrastructure improvements over the next five years in Dixmoor.
As part of this partnership, CMAP hosted training workshops that will equip Dixmoor staff and officials with the tools and knowledge to implement projects included in the Capital Improvement Plan.
The work to develop Dixmoor's Capital Improvement Plan also involved the community, residents, and stakeholders. The project team used a Participatory Budgeting Process to help identify projects for Dixmoor's Capital Improvement Plan.

When identifying infrastructure improvements, please consider issues that affect sidewalks, roads, water and sewer lines, access to public transportation, and other travel options in Dixmoor.
