City of Hickory Hills municipal buildingThe City of Hickory Hills is working with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) and its consultants to develop a Capital Improvement Plan to guide and prioritize large capital and infrastructure improvements in Hickory Hills over the next five years. As part of this partnership, the project team will host training workshops to equip city staff and officials with the tools and knowledge needed to implement projects included in the Capital Improvement Plan.

The development of Hickory Hills' Capital Improvement Plan also involves the community, including residents and other stakeholders. The project team is using a participatory budgeting process to help identify projects for Hickory Hills' Capital Improvement Plan. Public engagement is an important part of this process.

  • City of Hickory Hills Capital Improvement Survey

    The City of Hickory Hills is working with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) and a consultant team to develop the City’s first Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), a long-term plan to guide future infrastructure investments.

    As part of this effort, community members are invited to review the following capital project proposals and provide input. Each proposal summarizes the purpose and scope of the project.

    Please review all projects and select the one project you believe should be prioritized for funding. The project receiving the most votes will be included in the final CIP for consideration by the City Council.

    Hickory Hills is developing a multi-year capital improvement plan (CIP) to identify and prioritize major infrastructure investments across the City (such as roads, sidewalks, public buildings, water and sewer systems) and we want your input!
