Port Master Plan Survey
The Illinois International Port District (the “Port”), in partnership with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), is currently working to develop a Port Master Plan. The purpose of this plan is to provide the Port, community residents, and other stakeholders with a clear vision of how the Port should develop over the next thirty years. The plan will specifically address the Port’s property—Iroquois Landing (near 95th Street and Lake Michigan) and Lake Calumet—but will be informed by issues and opportunities impacting its surrounding communities. It will also identify priorities for how the Port can invest in its facilities to improve the local and regional economy, increase employment, create new opportunities for recreation, and improve its environmental quality.
Thank you for taking this brief survey for the Illinois Internal Port District Master Plan. This survey will help the Port, CMAP and the project team collect your feedback about and goals for the Port. We appreciate your time and value your input during this process.
