FLIP 2021 has ended.

During the last session, we talked about putting together a plan based on data. What comes next?

In this final session, we will apply everything we learned in the first three weeks and discuss the next step in the process: implementation. Nina Idemudia, AICP, assistant commissioner of the Chicago Department of Planning and Development, will tell us about her planning experience and the challenges that come with implementing a project. She will also cover underinvestment and why some communities are unable to see development in their area. We will make plans to turn an idea into a reality.

Before class

Take a look at our pre-session content below to familiarize yourself with resources that will form the foundation for this week’s lesson.

During class

Join us on July 30, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., for class.
